Deep sea fishing is about as different from shore fishing as heaven and earth are. While shore fishing, the fisherman uses a boat or a pontoon to fish out from land or even over water; deep sea fishing requires you to use a rope that has been suspended from the boat by your crew. This makes it so that you can never have too much rope, or you will fall off the boat and be unable to retrieve yourself. Not only will the rope keep you steady but it also enables you to get into the best possible position for the fish to strike.
