When one thinks of seafood they automatically think of the name “SNAKE”. This is because snapper is a variety of fish that has a very bright and colorful tail. However, snapper isn’t always a colorful fish. Some types of snapper are colored pink, red, orange or yellow in color. Those fish that are not colored or have colors other than pink or red, can have orange or yellow colors because it is only a color pigment that colors the skin, not the flesh of the fish. Other varieties of snapper may have stripes running down the sides of the fish. Other types of colors of snapper include white, silver, black, blue, purple, and gold.
