Snapper have always been connected to hard reef. The really huge snapper are more inclined to be solitary they may be away out wide or they might be mooching in close. however, it’s unlikely they’ll be there with plenty of other snapper. Most 20lb-plus snapper are caught by those who know there are big fish in that specific area.
