When shopping for a snapper rod try to purchase one that is of equal length to accommodate all the weight of your favorite tackle in one piece. Also, the reel should also be of similar length if not the same as well as the rod and a line as long as possible. Many people usually buy an aluminum reel for their rod and the line although others prefer carbon since it does not rust even when exposed to the elements. As you purchase your snapper rod or reel, you will want to also check to see how the fish are going to react to this new challenge.
