White bass provide a good deal of action on light tackle and since they school up they may be readily caught. White bass is found in a number of the Great Lakes (except Lake Superior) in addition to in some inland lakes. If you’re fishing and find which you’re catching only smaller white bass on the more compact jig, make the switch to a larger jig and see whether that removes the smaller fish from hitting.
